About This Course

This Piping Material Specification Course builds independent ownership of piping deliverables. Participants learn to combine pressure-temperature, corrosion, fabrication, testing and procurement requirements into one consistent package, supported by real RFQ Training and Vendor Evaluation Training exercises.

What Will You Learn?
  • 1. Create a requirement register from tender, licensor, client and project documents
  • 2. Prepare or modify a piping class with justified component, material, branch, gasket, bolting and testing logic
  • 3. Develop an MR/RFQ Training package and evaluate vendor offers on a common technical platform
  • 4. Perform first-level vendor document, QAP/ITP, MTC and deviation review
  • 5. Control MTO, commodity descriptions and revisions with traceable checks

Requirements
  • 2 to 5 years of piping or materials engineering experience recommended.
